Torres' abstract paintings, loosely based on the landscape, are a combination of many translucent layers of pigmented wax/resin paint with collage, transfers and metallic foils quietly evoking a reverence for the harmony and spirituality of nature. The paintings are deeply cradled resulting in a very sculptural piece. Diptych and triptych pieces are mounted on plexiglass and hang as one piece.
